Praise the Lord! This is some really exciting news, but…I’ll admit, I’m slightly hesitant to share it all with you because I don’t want to come across as a braggart, and yet I feel I wouldn’t be giving enough glory to God for what He has enabled Book 2-The Heir to accomplish, if I didn’t!
What do you mean?
Because of your support of Finockt and her continuing story, The Heir topped the charts for Amazon’s Teen & Young Adult Christian Historical fiction category, their Teen & Young Adult Christian Fantasy category (briefly but it made it! Eeek!), and it also did super well in their Clean and Wholesome Romance category! It continued to maintain a rating in the top 100 for overall bestseller for more than a couple of weeks after the actual release date, too! Praise the Lord!
What do you mean by it did “well?”
Upon release day, it received an orange Top New Release banner for Amazon’s Teen and Young Adult Christian Historical Fiction category, and it placed #5 in this same category for overall bestseller! It was also listed as #17 for overall bestseller in the Teen & Young Adult Christian Fantasy category and #48 for overall bestseller in the Clean and Wholesome Romance category! I’m stoked!

Know what else?!
While I was super thrilled to see the orange Top New Release banner floating across Book 2’s Amazon page for the Christian Historical category, I was even more delighted when the same orange banner briefly popped up for the Teen & Young Adult Christian Fantasy category! What?! Oh my! This is awesome!
This latter category is an extremely hard one to place in, so I was absolutely elated when The Heir surfaced there-no matter how brief that placement was!
How have things been since then?
The Heir consistently remains one of the Top 2 New Releases on Amazon for a little over 3 weeks now in the Christian Historical category! And it is within the top 20 in the Christian Fantasy category! EEEK! Praise the Lord! I seriously never dreamed Book 2 would receive such a warm welcome, and this is seriously thanks to all of you! Your support. Your enthusiasm. Your love for Finockt and her continuing story! I’m so grateful you’ve purchased a copy and wanted to personally extend my heartfelt thanks for your support of me as well! It means the world to me that you love Finockt as much as you do and want to discover what happens to her next!

A strange thing to tell you, perhaps, but I feel like this victory is as much mine as it is yours! Without you, Finockt and her story would remain unseen by so many countless readers and would never have the impact on me that it has! Yet because of you, her story is reaching more adventure-seeking, fantasy readers like yourself and encouraging my soul that Finockt’s story is certainly worth telling!
