Here’s one of my most favorite passages from Chapter 8-The Heir!

I absolutely love Finockt and Eilidh’s relationship! So I had to include a passage with both of them in it!

Why do I particularly love this passage?

I think I love this passage because Eilidh is the sweetest, most encouraging character in this whole series, and I absolutely love her positive outlook on life as well as her deep, abiding faith in Christ as her Savior and Friend! Eilidh’s faith is inspiring, and Finockt is truly fortunate to have her as a confidante. In short, Eilidh is a magnificent light in her life. Hence, why I chose to illuminate this passage with the beautiful image of a burning candle.

To be a bit cliché, this passage warms me through. There’s way more spiritual discussion between them than I revealed here, and I love every minute of it. I can’t wait for you to read it, if you haven’t already!

I think I particularly loved this passage, too, because I so appreciate and am grateful for all the spiritual mentors and confidantes I’m fortunate enough to have in my life! The encouragement I receive from these individuals is priceless! Such an incredible blessing to have other Christian brothers and sisters I can count on for counsel and application of God’s Word.
